Last Sunday, 24 June 2012, the first Indonesia GBG Workshop for Semarang chapter was held at Galeri Indosat. Started at 10 AM participants were very enthusiastic to get the knowledge about Google Business Group and the opportunities GBG offer.
This event was opened by Jefri Dinomo, the manager of GBG Indonesia, for Semarang chapter. He introduced the objective of GBG founding in Semarang, and explained about the community development which will be the point of this forum.
Later on, Yansen Kamto, Founder, Indonesia Google Business Group brought the session about going to on-off-line business. Some facts about the high growth of Indonesian internet user, trends, highlights, and lifestyle are presented. Also, he introduced some Google product which can help them to boost their business, straight to their target audience, effectively and efficiently. Of course, this really opened the new perspective of the participants who come from various enterprise and unit of communities: Jaringan Rumah Usaha, Jogja camp, Dotsemarang, Edgy House, Info Tembalang, Sg Cyber, Dhievine, Internet Club, Digital Forensic Analist, Ghazal, Indosat, Loenpia, RoTIFreSh, Hackerspace, RIM and Foxilab.
